Statement of Work Project: Replacement of compressor #1
GENERAL INFORMATION
1.0 Scope of Work: Perform refrigerant recovery on rhizotron #2. Replace compressor
#1 on rhizotron #2 compressor skid. Replace contactor and inline drier. Recharge with refrigerant. Operate system to ensure system is operating to manufacturers specifications. Compressor is a Copeland compressor.
2.0 Background: Rhizotron #2 has a failed compressor and contactor. Other items may also be discovered during repair.
CONTRACTOR REQUIREMENTS
3.0 Technical Requirements/Tasks:
Contractor must be an authorized Conviron service/repair technician with 5 year’s experience working on Conviron growth chambers
Contractor must have refrigeration license Recover any existing refrigerant, replace bad compressor with new compressor, replace bad contactor, replace inline refrigerant drier, recharge system with new refrigerant
Make any additional repairs after discussing with the Government as they arise during this replacement
4.0 Government Furnished:
Government will provide access to the growth chamber. Government has an elevator to move parts and equipment to the basement where the growth chamber compressor skid is located.
5.0 Deliverables/Schedule
Delivery to be completed in 60 days.

9.0 Security Requirements: A copy of an official government photo ID (State-issued driver’s license or ID card, passport, green card, etc.) must be provided no later than one week before arrival of contract service technician(s) except in the case of emergency service, were only the name of the technician provided via email or telephone will be necessary. Security access to the NLAE facility will be provided based on this identification requirement.
