About this file

This is a Statement of Work (SOW) for the production and delivery of Peculiar Support Equipment (PSE) for the CH-53K Aircraft under Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWC-AD) oversight. The SOW specifies requirements for manufacturing various slings, maintenance stands, fixtures, and carts critical for scheduled O-level maintenance operations on CH-53K domestic and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) platforms, with delivery required no later than 200 calendar days after contract award. All PSE items must be manufactured in accordance with government-furnished technical data packages (TDPs) and comply with AS9100D certification standards to ensure configuration items are built to print, functional, and reliably made per controlling technical drawings and specifications.

The SOW establishes comprehensive quality, inspection, and deliverable requirements including raw material certifications (DFARS compliant), plating/coating certifications, dimensional quality checklists, calibration certifications (NIST-traceable when applicable), proof load testing with documentation, and non-destructive inspection (NDI) certifications as required by applicable drawings. Contractors must implement Item Unique Identification (IUID) marking per MIL-STD-130N with serial numbers, maintain detailed UID registration records, and provide all certification documentation in PDF format traceable to individual serial numbers. Additional requirements include government inspection and acceptance at destination (domestic CLINs) or origin (FMS CLINs), CMMC Level 2 self-assessment compliance for cybersecurity protection of Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI), packaging per commercial best practices with FOB Destination shipping, and detailed marking of exterior shipping containers with part numbers, nomenclature, quantities, serial numbers, contract number, NSN, and manufacturer information.
