About this file
This is a Draft Statement of Work (SOW) for the United States Space Force at Vandenberg Space Force Base, focused on inspection and repair of four specialized trucks. The vehicles requiring service include two 55ft high reach trucks (Models: Altec AM60 and AM55), one 100ft high reach truck (Model: Altec AM900-E100), and one line truck (Model: Altec D3060B-TR), all of which were previously red-tagged as unsafe by an outside vendor.
The SOW details comprehensive repair requirements for each vehicle, including inspecting and replacing specific components such as boom lift cylinders, platform assemblies, Boltron covers, leveling chains, and various other mechanical parts. The contractor must have in-depth knowledge of Altec High Reach Boom systems and complete all repairs within 30 days of contract award. CES (Customer Equipment Services) will be responsible for transporting the vehicles to and from the repair facility. The contract is administered by the 30th Contracting Squadron, with points of contact including Derald L. Christopher and Leonor Osorio from the Space Force.
