Statement of Work For
Mattresses and Bed Bases to the U.S. Mission to the United Kingdom
U.S. EMBASSY – UNITED KINGDOM
1. Summary:
The U.S. Embassy Warehouse in London has a requirement for the supply of a range of mattresses and bed bases and intends to award Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs) to one or more responsible vendors. A BPA is similar to a credit account established with vendors under which numerous orders may be issued. It establishes no contractual obligation until an order is issued and a delivery is made. BPAs will be in effect for a period of five years upon award or until the determined maximum amount has been spent, whichever occurs first. Please note that the award of a BPA does not guarantee any quantity of business and that the Government may choose to award BPAs to more than one vendor and rotate business.
