STATEMENT OF WORK
Procurement and Installation of Window Blinds
(BRAND NAME OR EQUALIVALENT)
Bldg. 661, Joint Base Langley-Eustis, VA (JBLE)
1.0 OBJECTIVE.
1.1 The procurement and installation of window blinds to fit multiple size windows within bldg. 661 located on JBLE as well as bldg. 602 at 204 Dodd Blvd., Langley AFB.
2.0 SCOPE.
2.1 The contractor shall furnish all materials, equipment, tools, labor and incidentals as required for the procurement and installation of new cellular-style window blinds in bldg.
661. The contractor will remove and dispose of existing blinds and associated hardware. Upon completion of new window blinds installation, the contractor shall ensure the Facility Manager has all warranty and manufacturer documents.
2.2 Execution of work shall be IAW the applicable contract documents, clauses, and any installation requirements.
2.3 Any individual performing technician services shall have up-to-date certifications or training on the installed system(s). The contractor shall provide a list of the personnel performing the work and documentation of their certifications to the On-Site Representative.
2.4 Work Area Requirements. The contractor shall clean up all debris and discarded materials resulting from their operations at the end of each workday. All waste materials shall be disposed of off Langley unless otherwise approved.
2.5 There shall be no deviations or substitutions without prior approval from the Contracting Officer. The contractor shall not comply with any order, direction, or request of any government personnel unless it is issued in writing and signed by the Contracting Officer.
3.0 SCHEDULING.
3.1 The ACC is needing window blinds installed for building 661 on Joint Base Langley- Eustis, VA (JBLE).
a. A site visit will be accomplished March 11, 2025, at 1:00 pm EST. If you require a pass to access the facility for this visit, please contact Kelly Voigts at kelly.voigts.3@us.af.mil immediately to ensure quick processing of your request. All Questions must be submitted by 5:00 pm EST March 14, 2025.
3.2 The contractor shall schedule and coordinate all work with the Project Point of Contact, MSgt Ryan Hopkins for bldg. 661. Please relate all questions to him at telephone number 757-225-1128 or cell 402-937-9815 and Mr. Greg King for bldg. 602 rooms at 757 764 3518
3.3 The contract performance period shall not exceed 100 calendar days after receipt of order. All work shall be inspected by the government for final approval and acceptance.
4.0 SECURITY.
3.1 All work shall be performed during hours as coordinated with an on-site representative. The on-site representative will ensure the contractor’s employees and subcontractors have access to the site five days a week, 0700 to 1700, as a minimum, excluding US Federal holidays.
3.2 The contractor shall be responsible for safeguarding all government equipment, information, and property provided for contractor use. At the close of each work period, government facilities, equipment, and materials shall be secured.
5.0 MATERIALS.
4.1 Requested: Draper 5% shading White/Pearl and White Fascia (BRAND NAME
OR EQUALIVALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED)
The contractor shall provide blinds for the twenty-four windows, here divided by size quantities:
BLDG 661
Qty 18 17’wide x 9’8” long Qty 5 4’2”wide x 9’8” long Qty 1 12’wide x 9” long Qty 4 7’8”wide x 5’8” long
BLDG 602
A3 – needs 3 blinds—Rm 105 7’8’’ wide and 5’8’’ tall A5W – needs 5 blinds—RM 311 7’8’’ wide and 5’8’’ tall 3rd floor CR needs 4 blinds—RM 323 7’8’’ wide and 5’8’’ tall Det 4 – needs 5 blinds -Rm 133 7’8’’ wide and 5’8’’ tall
Color – WHITE.
Must be medium light filtering.
