Building 5014 rewire would include the removal of improperly installed cables ran through the fire dampers in 16 different locations. The 7 Communications Sqadron has identified this as a safety hazard that will require immediate attention. Safety hazard exists because and with data cables installed through fire dampers, emergency responders cannot close dampers to contain fire should one occur. This includes, but is not limited to: contractor management; system design; purchase of Commercial Off-the- Shelf (COTS) and ancillary equipment and necessary supporting infrastructure; installation of all contractor provided equipment and infrastructure; systems integration of contractor provided equipment/infrastructure and Government Furnished Property/Equipment (GFP/GFE) and infrastructure; support of applicable GFP/GFE; contractor verification testing;
