About this file
This Statement of Work (SOW) details the construction of an accessible playground at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Virginia, specifically in the Langley Housing Community Center Tot-Lot. Key requirements include providing all necessary labor, materials, and equipment to procure and install inclusive, ADA-compliant playground equipment, ensuring compliance with ADA Accessibility Standards, ASTM F1487 Public Use Playground Equipment Safety standards, and UFC 4-740-14 Child Development Center design guidelines. Hunt Housing will remove the existing "stand and spin" equipment and install new rubberized surfacing after the equipment installation. The contractor must complete work Monday-Friday between 0800-1600, excluding federal holidays, and is responsible for providing installation documentation, warranty information, and maintenance guidelines upon project completion.
