The SOW details the contractor's responsibilities, which include providing maintenance and repair services on the telecommunication phone console systems, radio interfaces, uninterruptible power supplies, and associated equipment. Key requirements include 24/7 remote technical assistance, on-site responses for system failures, and refresher training for 9th Wing CP controllers. The contractor must meet performance thresholds of 95% of listed equipment being operational and 95% of repair reports being timely and accurate. The government will provide electricity and storage space, and all work must be coordinated through the 9th Contracting Office.

The related federal contract opportunity is a notice of intent to sole-source the maintenance contract to one provider, MCS of Tampa, under the authority of FAR 8.405-6(a)(1)(i)(B). The contract will be for a 4-year service period to maintain the proprietary Unify OpenScape voice hosting system at two separate buildings on Beale Air Force Base, allowing for 24/7 services.
