About this file

This document is a Statement of Work (SOW) for moving a Becton Dickinson (BD) MAX analyzer within the VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System. The sole-source procurement requires the vendor to relocate the BD MAX analyzer approximately 50 feet due to upcoming construction on 06/02/2025 that may damage the equipment. The vendor will move the analyzer to a temporary location, perform a system check to ensure proper operation, and then return it to the original location within 5 business days after construction is completed.

The estimated services include a BD MAX Qualification Kit, shipping, labor for two days (4 hours each day), travel labor, and a worldwide moving team. The contract is a one-time request with no government-furnished property, and samples will be collected and shipped by VA Dialysis staff. The VA seeks to award the contract by 6/1/2025 to allow the vendor time to organize a moving team, with a period of performance from 5/28/2025 to 7/28/2025. The contract will be awarded directly to Becton Dickinson under simplified acquisition procedures.
