STATEMENT OF WORK
Abernathy Fish Technology Center Backhoe Transmission Repair January 20, 2021
1. GENERAL: The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Abernathy Fish Technology Center (Center), located in Longview, Cowlitz County, Washington is seeking to repair a 2001 John Deere 410G Backhoe/Loader TO410GX900207. The transmission shuttle when forward/reverse are chosen will not engage and move backhoe in either direction.
2. SCOPE: Selected vendor will remove faulty transmission and replace with a John Deere remanufactured transmission
· Remanufactured transmission will include factory warranty for parts and labor
· Warranty work will include pickup and delivery of backhoe from AFTC.
· Vendor will pick up backhoe and deliver to AFTC during normal business hours between 8am and 3:30pm, Monday through Friday
4. PLACE/DELIVERY AND PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: The Contractor shall install transmission by March 1, 2021.
5. INSPECTION AND ACCEPTANCE: The Backhoe will be inspected and tested by Facility Operations Specialist or designee before acceptance and any damaged or incorrect items will be rejected and replaced.
Award will be based on past performance, price and qualifications. Solicitation responses shall include proposed repair, estimated delivery date and warranty.
