The contractor must also provide three 90° elbows with male and female camlocks, three 2-inch by 15-foot lay flat hoses with camlock connections at opposite ends, and three 2-inch PVC ball valves with camlocks—all rated for a minimum pressure of 150 PSI. All components must be delivered to USCGC ASPEN, 4688 Homer Spit Road, Homer, Alaska 99603, by the required delivery date of 11 September 2026.
The acceptance criteria specify that all camlock fittings must include Type DC dust caps on female couplers and Type DP dust plugs on male adapters. All hose assemblies must be delivered with a Manufacturer Proof-Test Certificate demonstrating hydrostatic testing to 1.5 times the working pressure in accordance with ASTM D380, ISO 1402, or equivalent standards. The containment bags must meet rigorous material performance standards, including a minimum thickness of 0.055 inches, puncture resistance of 440 lbs (200 kg), abrasion resistance of 7,000 Taber Abraser cycles, environmental temperature range capability from -22°F to +160°F, and oil and fuel-resistant PVC formulation to withstand exposure to surface fuel sheens, hydraulic oils, and contaminated bilge water.
