About this file

This Statement of Work (SOW) details engine replacement services for a 2014 Pierce P-22 fire-engine chassis (registration number 14L00096) for 1SOLRS/LGRV, an Air Force organization. The vendor is required to source and replace the entire engine long block with either a new crate engine or a certified remanufactured long block, including removing and reinstalling serviceable engine accessories, replacing unserviceable components, and servicing all vehicle fluids. Additional requirements include installing and timing the fuel system to EPA emissions standards, servicing the air conditioning system, and performing a pump test per NFPA guidelines.

The vendor must complete all work within 120 days of contract award, provide a secure storage area for the vehicle, interact exclusively with the 1SOCONS Contract Manager, and submit all quotes for approval. A comprehensive warranty is mandated, covering the engine long block for one year (365 days) and minor systems/accessories for 60 days after Vehicle Management's acceptance. The final vehicle inspection will be conducted by a qualified Vehicle Management 7-level mechanic, and any warranty repairs must be completed at no cost to the government within 60 days of service acceptance.
