About this file

This document contains Questions and Answers (Q&As) related to a pre-solicitation for a Mobile Pallet Racking System contract opportunity with the Department of the Army Alaska Army National Guard. The key details are:

The government requires the installation of a new mobile pallet racking system consisting of two 47'1 1/2" x 16'6 7/8" rows with 4 beam levels per bay, for a total of 40 beam levels and 80 pallet positions. The existing pallet racking will be removed and re-installed into one of the mobile carriages. The mobile carriages must be able to hold 16,000 lbs per bay and 160,000 lbs in total. The rails must be able to withstand 10,000 lbs of forklift traffic. The contractor is responsible for all installation, electrical wiring, debris removal, and providing a one-year warranty. A site visit is required to obtain accurate measurements.
