About this file

This Request for Information (RFI) seeks industry input for electrical distribution system maintenance at the Stewart Lee Udall building, issued by the U.S. Department of the Interior's Interior Business Center. The RFI is structured to gather vendor capabilities and feedback, with responses due Monday, January 12th, 2026, at 11:00 AM ET. Vendors are asked to submit a 5-page response addressing four key sections: General Response to Government Requirement, Feedback on Performance Work Statement (PWS), Vendor Response to Questions, and Capabilities Statement. The document includes detailed questions covering requirements understanding, technical capabilities, experience with switchgear maintenance, personnel certifications, socioeconomic status, and potential teaming arrangements. The RFI is specifically targeting electrical contractors under NAICS code 238210 and emphasizes that this is an information-gathering step, not a solicitation, and will not obligate the government to any future action.
