About this file
This is a Sources Sought Survey for the Holland North Revetment Repairs project issued by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Detroit District (Solicitation Number W911XK26X1BST). The survey is market research only and does not constitute a solicitation announcement or restrict the Government to any specific acquisition approach. No award will result from this notice.
The project involves the rehabilitation of approximately 515 feet of the Holland North Revetment, specifically Sections C, D, and E, with primary objectives including reducing wave overtopping and erosion by increasing bulkhead and concrete walkway elevation, remediating deteriorating timber cribs and Wakefield walls, and installing an anchored steel sheet pile bulkhead system on the landward side of the existing wall. The design scope includes an NZ 26 front wall, NZ 19 anchor wall, a new 10-foot wide pile-supported concrete walkway, and new pipe railings. The identified NAICS code is 237990 (Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction). The survey requests respondents to provide company information, socioeconomic status certification (small business, SDB, 8(a), VOSB, SDVOSB, HUBZone, or WOSB), three past project examples completed within ten years demonstrating similar experience as prime or subcontractor with percentage of self-performed work and contract values, bonding capability (individual and aggregate), and a descriptive statement of company capability. The Government intends to use responses to determine procurement methodology and may set aside the requirement for small businesses in full or in part, or conduct full and open competition. All small business set-aside categories are under consideration.
