About this file

This Sources Sought Response Form is soliciting information from potential contractors for military aircraft transportation services under NAICS Code 488190. The document requires interested firms to provide detailed information about their capabilities in securely transporting high-value military aircraft, specifically 4th and 5th generation fighter jets and tiltrotor platforms like the F-16, F/A-18 Hornet, F-22, F-35, and CV-22 Osprey. Respondents must demonstrate experience in aircraft transport, describe their specialized equipment and transportation methods, explain regulatory compliance and permitting processes, and confirm insurance coverage meeting federal contractor standards.

The form allows companies to self-identify their socio-economic status, including options such as small business, 8(a) program participant, HUB Zone business, and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business. Firms must confirm they can meet the Limitations on Subcontracting requirements, which stipulate that the prime contractor cannot pay more than 50% of the contract amount to subcontractors that are not similarly situated entities. Incomplete responses or failure to provide required documentation may result in disqualification from potential solicitation consideration.
