About this file
This Sources Sought document is a market research request from the 628th Contracting Squadron at Joint Base Charleston for potential contractors to provide kitchen hood and duct exhaust system cleaning services. The government seeks detailed vendor capabilities across three key areas: facility experience, service magnitude, and operational complexity. Specifically, they are interested in contractors with experience cleaning exhaust systems in government buildings, hospitals, military installations, and other secure or high-traffic facilities.
The Sources Sought announcement requires interested vendors to submit a capability statement and complete a detailed questionnaire by 28 March 2025 at 1200 EST, via email to jeffrey.craven.2@us.af.mil. The research aims to identify contractors who can perform comprehensive hood and duct cleaning services that ensure safety standards, operational efficiency, and mitigation of fire and environmental hazards. This is a pre-solicitation market research effort by the Department of the Air Force Air Mobility Command, with the potential for a future solicitation, though responses to this announcement will not be considered for any subsequent procurement.
