SUBJECT: Sources Sought Notice – HVAC Water Chemical Treatment Services for Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA) Texas (Commodities & Services)

All information provided is STRICTLY VOLUNTARY: The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to query the market for potential interested, capable, responsible, and qualified small business offerors that can provide/perform the stated requirement. The government is interested in collecting market data/information in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10.

The Government is currently utilizing NAICS: 325998 – All Other Miscellaneous Chemical Product and Preparation; Anticipated 5 yr contract with PoP dates: March 2023 thru Feb 2028; Firm Fixed Price Interested Offerors are encouraged to complete this Sources Sought Notice/Questionnaire and submit any questions/concerns pertaining to the requirement, no later than, 23 Nov 2022, 10am, CST. Description of Service: The contractor shall provide HVAC water treatment chemicals and chemically treat the water in steam boiler systems, condensing water open loops, condensing water closed loops, hot water closed loops, and chilled water closed loops at various Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA) locations. Chemicals provided under this contract shall include salt for water softeners. The contractor shall also provide Legionella testing, analysis, and hyperchlorination services on portable and non-potable water at various JBSA locations as needed, IAW, Performance Work Statement (PWS)

This market survey is issued to determine the applicable planning and acquisition strategy based on responses indicating capability in responding to this requirement.
