Electronic Latch Tester Calibration Servics

Hurlburt Field, FL

This announcement constitutes a Sources Sought Notice. THIS IS NOT A REQUST FOR

QUOTATION (RFQ) OR REQUST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP) BUT FOR INFORMATION AND

PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY. This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government.

All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary and the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government.

Hurlburt Field, FL anticipates a requirement that is being considered for a sole source award with Telair US LLC. Telair US LLC is believed to be the sole source service provider for the calibration services described below.

The potential requirement is for the calibration service the calibration of three (3) right-hand (RH) Electronic Latch Testers ((NSN 4920-01-391-7041, P/N 51500-100). The Latch Testers must be calibrated to the necessary specification so that they can perform their function of accurate testing the RH detent latch assemnly (P/N 14711-200) on the C-130H cargo handling system IAW T.O. 13C10-4-1. The requirement is for the service only as the government already owns these parts. The contractor shall provide the service in accordance with the attatched Statement of Work (SOW).

Market research is being conducted to determine the capability of any other potential sources for the requirement. Any interested party that believes it can meet the government’s potential requirement described above may identify themselves and must provide evidence of their capability to fulfill the service being requested. The government requests interested parties submit a brief description of their company's business size, business status, and past performance of providing requested service in a clearly defined capabilities statement that describes how their service meets the potential needs of the government. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.

INSTRUCTIONS:

Submit an electronic response indicating capability to support the aforementioned services as well as POC (name, telephone # and email address) along with contractor’s CAGE CODE, DUNS and System for Award Management (SAM) expiration date to the individuals listed within this notice. The response shall not exceed 5 pages. Telephone responses will not be accepted. Responses are due by 3 August

2021 @ 1:00PM CST.
