This is not a Request for Quote. This is a Sources Sought/Request for Information.
This announcement is for market research purposes to identify potentially capable vendors available to provide locksmith services as described in the attached Statement of Work (see Attachment A) that can support a requirement for the Department of the Interior (DOI) Headquarters Complex- Main Interior Building (MIB), managed by the Interior Complex Security Operations (ICSO) Branch. The Government encourages the potential vendor community to provide feedback for consideration as we work to finalize our acquisition strategy.
Responses to this request for information will not constitute responses to any request for quote, which is not currently available. No request for quote currently exists; therefore, do not request a copy of the request for quote. The decision to solicit for a contract will be solely at the Government’s discretion. This request for information is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, nor will the government reimburse any costs associated with the submission of information in response to this notice. Respondents will not be individually notified of the results of any government assessments. The Government’s evaluation of the capability statement received may factor into whether any forthcoming request for quote will be conducted as a small business set-aside (or further socioeconomic subset), full and open competition, or sole-source procurement. The Government may also utilize responses to determine potential sources that may be solicited under FAR 8.405-2(c)(2)(ii). Also note that a similar announcement is being made on SAM.gov, as a final acquisition strategy has not been determined.
Firms that believe they are capable and interested in providing these services may submit a capability statement via e-mail to the Contract Specialist, Salena Watson at Salena_watson@ibc.doi.gov to be considered by the agency. · Organization’s name, SAM UEI, Address, Phone Number, Email, and Point of Contact Information.
