About this file
This Sources Sought Synopsis from the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) at Redstone Arsenal seeks to identify potential manufacturing sources for M299 LONGBOW HELLFIRE (LBHF) Launcher production, spares, and engineering services. The acquisition will be a new subsumable under the existing Umbrella Contract SPE4AX22D9000, supporting Tactical Aviation and Ground Munitions Project Office and PEO Missiles and Space FRAB programs.
The government intends to award to Lockheed Martin (CAGE: 04939) under other than full and open competition, citing only one responsible source. Key components include the M299 Longbow Launcher (NSN 1440-01-393-6361), Launcher Electronics Assembly, various circuit card assemblies, transformer/rectifier assembly, wiring harnesses, and rail assembly. While planned as sole source, DLA welcomes responses from all businesses including 8(a), small business, service-disabled veteran-owned, HUBZone, and women-owned small businesses. The contractor must manage all aspects of manufacturing, including supply chain, logistics, parts forecasting, and obsolescence issues. No response deadline is specified in the document.
