About this file
This is a Sources Sought synopsis issued by the 42d Contracting Squadron at Maxwell Air Force Base, Alabama, seeking information from industry regarding a potential non-personal services contract to provide Air Force Reserve Officers' Training Corps Instruction Support Services (AFRISS). The Government is gathering market research to develop an appropriate acquisition strategy and explicitly states this is not a solicitation and no contract will be awarded based on responses. Responses will not be reimbursed, will not be returned to respondents, and must be submitted via email by 12:00 P.M. Central Standard Time on 27 March 2026 to either Katrice Barganier (katrice.barganier@us.af.mil, 334-493-3528) or Mr. Jeremy Kersey (jeremy.kersey.1@us.af.mil, 334-953-3526).
Respondents must provide general company information including name, address, point of contact, business classification under NAICS code 611699 (which has a $15.0 million size standard), CAGE Code, and Unique Entity Identifier. The Government requests documentation demonstrating the capability to recruit and provide qualified Associate Professor of Aerospace Studies (APAS) Instructors and to perform services outlined in the Draft Performance Work Statement paragraphs 1.4.1 through 1.4.18. Alternatively, companies may indicate whether they can meet the requirement through an existing GSA schedule, with supporting documentation such as price lists or product sheets to validate that services are available through the schedule rather than the open market. The Government notes that portions of responses to this sources sought may be incorporated into any final solicitation and discourages submission of competition-sensitive or proprietary information.
