About this file
This Sources Sought notice is issued by the United States Air Force at Ellsworth AFB to conduct market research for leasing and maintaining washing machines and dryers for dormitories. The requirement is classified under NAICS code 532210 with a business size standard of $47M and Product Service Code W035. Interested firms are requested to submit a capabilities package by 14 January 2026 at 1300 MT, demonstrating their ability to provide washing and drying equipment. The document emphasizes that this is not a solicitation, but a market research effort to assess potential sources, and respondents should provide details about their company, past government projects, manufacturing capabilities, and any potential constraints that might prevent them from meeting the requirement.
Key submission requirements include providing company information such as contact details, CAGE code, UEI, GSA contract numbers, business size/socio-economic status, estimated lead time, manufacturing location, and manufacturer details. The Air Force is open to potential small business set-asides and wants companies to consider subcontracting limitations. Interested parties must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database. The primary points of contact are 2d Lt Matthew Shofner and Contracting Officer Jason Wright, both with @us.af.mil email addresses. The attached draft Statement of Work (SOW) contains more detailed specifications for the washer and dryer lease requirement.
