THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY - Solicitations are not available at this time. This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government. The Bureau of Prisons has a future requirement for an Occupational Vocational Training Program-Barber and Commercial Driver License for the inmate population at the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI)Three Rivers, located in Three Rivers, Texas. All duties shall be performed in accordance with standards and methods generally accepted within the industry and in compliance with all Federal and State policies and regulations. The contractor will provide an Occupational Vocational Training Program-Barber and CDL services in accordance with the Statement of Work. The Government contemplates awarding of an indefinite-delivery, requirements-type contracts with firm-fixed unit prices resulting from the future solicitation. The performance period will be for a base year period from the Effective Date of Award (EDOA) through 12 months from the EDOA, four (4) possible 12-month option periods at the unilateral discretion of the Government. The Government anticipates requiring approximately 20 students for the Barber services per class/per course to be taught for the base year period and 20 students per class for each course each option year period. The Government anticipates requiring approximately 40 students for the CDL services per class/per course to be taught for the base year period and 40 students per class for each course each option year period. A Government solicitation document to provide these services is being developed, and a contract may or may not result. Market research is being conducted to determine interest and capability of potential sources for this requirement. A draft copy of the Statement of Work is attached. All future information about this acquisition, including the solicitation and/or amendments, will be distributed solely through this site (sam.gov). Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information regarding this acquisition. All responses to the Market Survey Questionnaire may be submitted via email to vvanburen@bop.gov. The response date is February 25, 2022, 9:00 am CST.
