About this file
This is a Market Research Questionnaire from the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Land and Maritime's Strategic Acquisition Programs Directorate (SAPD) for a proposed Long-Term Contract (LTC) or Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC) covering seven National Stock Numbers (NSNs) for hydraulic accumulators and components. The questionnaire requests that potential suppliers provide company information, including size status, employee count, Small Business Administration classifications, and manufacturer details if the respondent is a distributor. Responses are due by February 16, 2026, within five business days of receipt.
The questionnaire addresses contract preferences, including a proposed three-year base period with single option years thereafter; quantity price breaks; recommended additions or deletions to the item list; and preferred contract types such as firm fixed price with negotiated escalation, fixed price with economic price adjustment using Bureau of Labor Statistics indices, or fixed price with price redetermination. For contracts estimated over $2,000,000, certified Cost or Pricing Data or Information Other Than Cost or Pricing Data may be required. The questionnaire also covers commercial item qualification, delivery capabilities, production limitations, and minimum order quantities. Respondents are encouraged to provide supporting documentation such as published catalogs, price lists, unredacted commercial sales history, complete drawings marked as proprietary and confidential, and proof of general public availability. The document invites additional feedback to inform the government's acquisition strategy and solicitation development.
