Sources Sought Notice

Purpose: This is a sources sought notice for the purpose of conducting market research. Proposals are
NOT being requested, nor accepted at this time. Responses are being requested from both large and small businesses. The purpose of this notice is to gain knowledge regarding the type of interested businesses and their qualifications. The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) will use information obtained through this notice to develop an acquisition strategy.
The government anticipates conducting a competitive acquisition for this requirement. The amount of interest or lack thereof will determine the possibility of a small business or other socio-economic small business set-aside for the solicitation. Quality of responses received will be considered when making any small business set-aside determinations for this requirement.
Additional Information: The Scope of Work with informational drawings have been included with this notice. All documentation is considered to be in a DRAFT format and has been provided for comment.
Comments received may be used to make corrections, revisions, and/or other requirement changes depending on the nature and type of information received. Any comments provided shall be considered public information and the government reserves the right to use the information provided without restriction.
Cost Reimbursement: Response to this announcement is strictly voluntary; no reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement or any follow-up information requests.

Project Description: The subject requirement consists of all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision for rodent removal and building decontamination, metal roof replacement, HVAC System removal and replacement, Repair of water damaged restroom, repair water damaged storage room wall paneling, repair office ceiling, construct ceiling and wall access doors and site and building cleanup.
The project location is Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area (NCA) located approximately 4 miles west of Sky Vista Blvd in the community of Summerlin. Refer to the DRAFT plans and specifications for more specific information.
Submission / Response Contents: Interested businesses (large and small) should submit the following information:
(1) Company name, DUNS number, SAM UEI number, address, point of contact, telephone number, and email address
(2) Business classification type: Please indicate whether your company is classified as a large or small business under the NAICS code listed above. The size of a small business firm includes all parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, etc.—see 13 CFR 121.108. Misrepresentation of size status can result in penalties. If large, please indicate if your company is an Indian-owned economic enterprise. If small, please indicate all relevant small business socioeconomic classifications as follows:
A) SBA certified Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) business
B) Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small (SDVOSB) business
C) SBA certified Woman Owned Small (WOSB) business
D) Economically Disadvantaged Woman Owned Small (EDWOSB) business
E) 8(a) business (include program entry and expiration)
F) Socio-economically disadvantaged business
G) Indian-owned small business economic enterprise
(3) Statement regarding your company’s bonding capacity. Letters from bonding companies are not required at this time.
(4) Information demonstrating experience and capabilities on construction projects of the same or similar size, scope, and magnitude (emphasis on rodent removal and building contamination).
Information regarding projects completed under similar construction conditions is requested.
(5) Explain coordinated approach to meet scope of work requirements for specialized areas including but not limited to rodent control, roofing, and HVAC.
(6) In addition to (4) above, interested companies may also submit existing marketing materials such as capability statements and brochures.
