About this file
This Statement of Requirements (SOR) details the procurement of a public address (PA) system for a covered obstacle course at Maxwell Air Force Base, Alabama. The project requires designing and installing a comprehensive sound system for a 22-task obstacle course located under a 90' x 300' steel canopy, with specific technical requirements including a Bluetooth-capable amplifier, two wireless microphones, an outdoor rack/enclosure, sufficient outdoor-rated speakers mounted to canopy members, and necessary conduit and wiring. The system must enable synchronous communication from a 10-foot-high catwalk to all course tasks, with power available at the canopy's northeast column. The contractor must provide brand new equipment, follow manufacturer installation instructions, and include standard OEM commercial warranties, with mandatory documentation of warranty details and technical support procedures prior to project acceptance.
