About this file
This Statement of Requirements (SOR) dated December 31, 2024 specifies detailed fiber optic cable requirements for B1020, 119 and 400 Fiber. The document lists 19 specific line items of fiber optic equipment including rack mount termination boxes, adapter panels, pre-terminated fiber optic cable assemblies, trunk cables, and cassettes.
Key items include multiple quantities of Multilink rack mount termination boxes (2U and 4U), QuickTreX pre-terminated fiber optic cable assemblies in various lengths (20-60 feet), indoor/outdoor MPO trunk cables in 10m and 30m lengths, and LGX cassettes with US Conec connectors. All fiber components are specified for either OM4 multimode or singlemode applications, with detailed requirements for connector types (LC, MPO/MTP), fiber counts (12-24 strands), and cable ratings (plenum, LSZH). This appears to be supporting documentation for a sources sought notice seeking fiber optic materials for network growth, with no installation services included.
