(See Informational Map 1). Shaw Hill Road continues to a boat launch area named Shaw Cove where access to the Pemigewasset River is made.
b. General Conditions:
i. The Weeks Brook Bridge carries a reservoir access road over Weeks Brook in Sanbornton, NH.
The substructure consists of full height cast-in-place concrete abutments with wing walls on both sides. The clear span face to face of abutments is 17' - 10". The superstructure consists of six (6) S12 x 50 steel beams spaced at 3' - 0" on center and support 3-3/4" x 5-3/4" timber planks on edge. The bridge is skewed approximately 60 degrees.

(this may be a crack in the weld). The posts can deflect horizontally outward due to their configuration which causes torsion of the fascia beams and could cause damage to the beams if the railing were to be struck by a vehicle.
