About this file

This is a Request for Quote (RFQ) from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers for three (3) diesel-powered multi-process welder/generators with purpose-built running gears. The solicitation seeks new equipment with specific technical requirements, including a liquid-cooled diesel engine with at least 24.8 horsepower, Tier 4 Final compliance, and welding capabilities for various metals and processes (Stick, MIG, Flux-Cored, TIG). The welder/generators must have a 20-330A amperage range, 12,000W peak power output, and independent welding and auxiliary power systems.

The procurement is set aside as a Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB) contract, with a delivery deadline of December 31, 2025, to the USACE St. Paul District in Minneapolis, MN. The equipment will be evaluated primarily on price, with a firm fixed pricing arrangement. Vendors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM), provide documentation proving specification compliance, and submit quotes by September 17, 2025, at 10:00 AM. The solicitation follows FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures and requires compliance with various federal contracting regulations and representations.
