PERFORMANCE WORK STATEMENT (PWS)

Part 1

General Information

1. General: This is a non-personal services contract to provide EMS for the JSCG-P and the JOTC-P. The Government shall not exercise any supervision or control over the contract service providers performing the services herein. Such contract service providers shall be accountable solely to the Contractor who, in turn is responsible to the Government in accordance with all terms and conditions in the contract.

1.1 Description of Services/Introduction: This is a non-personal services contract to provide Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Life Support (ALS) EMS in designated areas in Panama.

These areas include the Panama Canal Zone especially Colon, Cristobal Colon Aeronaval Base, the highway between Panama City and Colon, Panama City itself, and Panama Pacifico, but could change as required by the U.S. Government.

This contract consists of two parts:

1.1.1. JOTC-P (near Colon)- A dedicated ambulance that will be on site at the JOTC-P site (Cristobal Colon AERONAVAL base) 24 hours a day, 7 days a week (24/7) for 21 days for ten (10) courses a year to transport patients to Panamanian hospitals in either Colon (Hospital Cuatro Altos) or Panama City (Hospital Nacional or Panama Clinic) depending on the injury type.
