About this file
This document is a Request for Proposal (RFP) issued by the Town of East Granby, Connecticut for a Village Center Master Plan. The RFP seeks a consultant to develop a Master Concept Plan that will guide future development in East Granby's village center, including new building development, streetscaping, and facade improvements to create a cohesive sense of place. The RFP has a response period from August 28, 2022 to September 23, 2022, and all questions should be directed to the EDC Chairman Paul Thulen and Eden Wimpfheimer. The selected concept plan is intended to be in harmony with recent high-profile development projects in the area, such as multi-family housing in the Commerce Park B Transition Zone.
The RFP does not specify any pricing terms, set asides, or funding sources. However, it notes that recent zoning changes have resulted in significant development in the area, and the selected Master Concept Plan should integrate these new projects with the existing surroundings to create a unified vision for the village center.
