About this file
This document is a Request for Proposal (RFP) issued by the Town of East Granby, Connecticut for the development of a Village Center Master Plan. The purpose of this plan is to guide future development in the town's village center through a community visualization process, which should include expectations for new building development, streetscaping, and facade improvements to create a sense of place. The RFP has an open period from August 28, 2022 to September 23, 2022, and all vendors are eligible to respond. The selected vendor will be responsible for creating a comprehensive Master Concept Plan that ensures harmony between recent high-profile development projects and the existing surroundings.
The RFP does not specify any pricing terms, set-asides, or funding sources. However, it notes that recent zoning changes in the Commerce Park B Transition Zone have led to several multi-family housing projects, and it is important that the Village Center Master Plan be coordinated with these and future designs. Interested vendors should direct any questions regarding the RFP to the EDC Chairman Paul Thulen or Eden Wimpfheimer of the Town of East Granby.
