About this file
This is a Questions and Answers document for a portable latrine services solicitation at Fort Johnson and the Joint Readiness Training Center. The document reveals that Major Contracting Services, Inc. is the incumbent with an estimated contract value of $864,020.00. The government will provide all latrines, with service requirements based on unit training events rather than monthly schedules. The contractor must service one septic tank with capacity up to 1000 gallons.
Key clarifications include: no hand wash stations are required; mowing/trimming is required around storage areas; CLIN structure has been adjusted to include estimated quantities per year and standalone CLINs; CLIN 0003 was added for the APOD (Alexandria airport) location which requires significant waste hauling due to local facility closure; and proposals should be submitted in PDF or Word format using the provided solicitation form. The contract will support approximately ten JRTC rotational training exercises annually, with rotational latrines having priority for delivery, services, and pickup.

- Verbiage has been adjusted and unnecessary CLINS have been removed.
