The procurement is issued by the Superintendent of Shipbuilding, Groton, Conversion and Repair, U.S. Navy, with Request Number N6278927Q0001, issued October 8, 2026. Quotations are due by December 3, 2026. The BPA establishes a five-year agreement from January 27, 2027, through January 26, 2032, with a maximum allowed per order of $100,000 and a government minimum/maximum to order of $500,000. The pricing arrangement is firm fixed price, and contractors must provide pricing for fiscal years 2027 through 2031. The contract is not a small business set-aside.

The scope of work requires complete disassembly, inspection, refurbishment, and reassembly of weapon shipping harnesses according to NAVSEA specifications and references. Specific tasks include visual and operational inspection using a 21-inch handling shape, removal of paint and cork/rubber material, replacement of defective components (cam followers, spring pins, ball-lock pins, and lanyards), non-destructive testing if hot work is performed, verification and restamping of Log ID numbers, application of new paint and cork/rubber, static weight testing, issuance of Weight Test Certificates, final operational testing, and installation of new label plates.
