About this file

This solicitation (N0010425RK062) is for Gas Pressure Generators for fire suppression systems in V-22 aircraft, specifically for the US Navy, US Air Force, and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) customers. The procurement covers five different models (JP09 through JP13) of Gas Pressure Generators with National Stock Numbers ranging from 1377-01-690-9662 to 1377-01-690-9673, with total quantities across all models exceeding 3,000 units.

The solicitation has a firm fixed price contract structure with deliveries scheduled across multiple fiscal years (FY24 and FY25). Delivery destinations include naval facilities, air force bases, and international depots (including a Japanese depot). The procurement is restricted to General Dynamics OTS and includes complex requirements such as production lot testing, investigative units, and specific marking and packaging standards for explosive materials. The solicitation emphasizes critical safety item protocols, unique item identification, and compliance with detailed military specifications for these propellant-actuated generators used in aircraft fire suppression systems.
