About this file
This is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for portable fire extinguisher equipment and installation services.
The 60th Contracting Squadron at Travis Air Force Base, California is seeking quotations for portable fire extinguisher equipment and installation in accordance with an attached Statement of Work dated December 17, 2025. The requirement is structured as a single Contract Line Item Number (CLIN 0001) for one lot and will be awarded as a Firm Fixed Price contract. This is a Total Small Business Set-Aside, restricting competition to small business concerns. The solicitation number is FA442726Q1153, with a Product Service Code of 4210 and NAICS Code 339999. Quotations must be submitted electronically to both the Contract Specialist (Elton Edwards at elton.edwards.1@us.af.mil) and Contracting Officer (John R De Pedro at john_rexter.de_pedro@us.af.mil) by September 18, 2026 at 12:00 PM Pacific Time. Questions must be submitted no later than September 15, 2026 at 2:30 PM Pacific Time. The anticipated award date is on or about September 22, 2026, with quotes remaining firm for 30 calendar days from the response deadline.
Evaluation will be based on price and technical capability. The government will determine best value by assessing whether the proposed price is fair and reasonable through price comparison, and whether the contractor's technical capability statement demonstrates sufficient ability to fulfill SOW requirements. All equipment must be new; refurbished equipment is not acceptable. Offerors must complete the Vendor Information and Pricing section, submit a Contractor Responsibility Verification form with supporting documentation, and provide a Technical Capability Statement. No specific qualification requirements are necessary for eligibility, and all responsible sources may submit quotations.
