About this file

This is a Questions and Answers document from Amendment 2 of Solicitation W81K00-26-Q-A253 for water purification treatment services at William Beaumont Army Medical Center, Fort Bliss, Texas.

The government addresses an offeror inquiry regarding source water quality information for the temporary treatment system. The source water will be supplied from an existing 3-inch supply line and will consist of a blend of softened water mixed with city water provided by El Paso. The government provides recent water test results from equipment on the hospital's 4th floor for reference purposes only, with the explicit caveat that offerors remain responsible for field verification. The government emphasizes that water quality is inconsistent and requires offerors to design systems capable of adjusting to meet specified water quality requirements. Offerors with concerns about specific water quality parameters are instructed to submit a backcheck question for clarification.
