About this file

This Statement of Work (SOW) details temporary lodging requirements for U.S. Coast Guard Reserve personnel performing Inactive Duty Training (IDT) in District Nine from June 2025 to May 2026. The Coast Guard seeks lodging for approximately 55-115 rooms per month across 16 different units located in Ohio, Michigan, Wisconsin, New York, Illinois, Minnesota, and Pennsylvania, with monthly night stays ranging from 80-170. Key requirements include double-occupancy, non-smoking rooms within 5-15 miles of each unit, adherence to GSA per diem rates, and facilities meeting Hotel and Motel Fire Safety Act standards with minimum three-star/diamond ratings. The contractor must provide monthly manifests, 24-hour access, weekly "no show" reports, consolidated invoices, and maintain continuity of lodging providers when possible. Individual Coast Guard members will be responsible for personal charges like telephone, room service, and gratuities, while the government will only pay for approved room charges and is exempt from federal and state taxes in the specified states.
