About this file
This is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) issued by the California Department of State Hospitals (DSH) located in Atascadero, with solicitation number 25AG0012. The RFQ seeks a vendor to supply 150 cases of prune juice, specifically requiring 100% fruit juice with no added sugars, sweeteners, or corn syrup, packaged in 46 oz containers with 12 cartons per case and no metal containers. The contract period is from January 1, 2026 to June 30, 2026, with delivery distributed quarterly and monthly. The solicitation due date is November 11, 2025, with an evaluation date of November 12, 2025, and the award will be determined by low cost determination.
The RFQ includes several key specifications and requirements, such as mandatory nutritional facts/ingredients submission, a product shelf life of at least six months after delivery, and shelf-stable products requiring no refrigeration. The total quantities may be increased or decreased by up to 15% during the contract duration. The document also highlights various state procurement requirements, including a Generative AI disclosure clause, Darfur Contracting Act certification, and recycled content certification. While no specific budget is mentioned, the state reserves the right to award to vendors meeting recycled products content requirements, potentially up to 10% greater total cost than non-recycled products. The solicitation emphasizes compliance with various California state procurement regulations and requires vendors to complete multiple mandatory forms as part of their bid submission.
