About this file
The document is a Sole Source Determination form for a U.S. Customs and Border Protection procurement of 110 subscriptions to Aeronautical Navigation Flight Charts from Boeing Digital Solutions, Inc. (formerly Jeppesen Sanderson, Inc.). The rationale for the sole source award is that Boeing has the unique capabilities and expertise required to provide the comprehensive and total coverage of flight charts needed, which is not available from other sources. The anticipated pricing is deemed fair and reasonable based on comparison to previous purchases of the same service. The related federal contract opportunity notice indicates that CBP intends to issue a sole source contract to Boeing for these flight charts to be distributed and utilized by the Air and Marine Operations division, covering areas within and outside the U.S. The anticipated contract period of performance is August 1, 2024 through July 31, 2025.
