About this file

This is a Sole Source Public Notice issued by the City of Salem, Oregon for the repair of a 2011 Ford F550 vehicle. The procurement is designated as a sole source purchase, allowing the City to procure goods and services from a single identified contractor rather than through competitive bidding. The prospective contractor identified is Northside Ford Truck Sales, Inc., located in Salem, Oregon. The First Date of Public Notice is April 18, 2023, with an anticipated award date of April 25, 2023. Affected persons have seven calendar days from the first date of public notice to submit written protests to the City Manager's office at 555 Liberty Street SE, Room 220, Salem, Oregon 97301.

The contract amount for the repair services is $8,380. A protest submission requires a certified check or cashier's check in the amount of $500 to cover processing costs, and any protest submitted after the seven-day deadline will be considered untimely and rejected. Written protests must include a detailed statement of legal and factual grounds, supporting evidence or documentation, a description of resulting harm to the protesting party, and a specification of relief requested. This procurement follows the City's adopted Public Contracting Rules, Section IV, which governs alternative source selection methods for goods, services, personal services, and professional services.
