Justification for sole source purchase: CEM BLADE Microwave Digestion System

We need to purchase the BLADE microwave digestive system to meet multiple client requests for heavy metal content testing and to fulfill the testing requirements for industrial compostable certification.

Currently, CEM is the sole source of supply for an automated microwave digestive system that allows the operator to run multiple sample types in one batch. This will allow us to meet client testing needs that have highly varied sample types in a timely and cost-effective manner.
