About this file
This document contains specifications for a state/local contract opportunity to rent solar-powered portable traffic signals. The trailer-mounted units must be manufactured in Illinois, deployable by a single operator, and equipped with hydraulic masts, 16-phase solid-state controllers, and solar recharging capabilities. The estimated rental duration is 1-6 months, with pricing provided on a per-month basis including all associated costs. Bidders must submit pricing through the BidBuy portal.
The specifications outline technical requirements such as the need for 16 onboard batteries, tilt/rotate solar panels, and 110V battery chargers. Rental pricing should account for all associated costs, though the estimated duration is for comparison only and does not obligate the contracting agency, District 9. Bidders must provide a per-month rental rate through the BidBuy procurement system.
