BACKGROUND

In the bid to provide students of the College of Engineering at the University of Liberia to acquire some practical knowledge and skills in tackling real engineering problems and implementing practical solutions to these problems, the University of Liberia in partnership with the USAID has encouraged students of the different engineering disciplines to carry out projects as demonstrations in their individual disciplines.

In pursuit of this objective, the Electrical Engineering students are to undertake a solar area lighting project within the Fendell Campus of the University under the supervision and management of a professional entity. It is in furtherance of working along with the Electrical Engineering students that this proposal is being proffered in order to supervise and manage the solar area lighting installation at Fendell.
