ATTACHMENT 10 - GUIDANCE IN DEVELOPING A SECURITY PLAN
Usually security plans are based on a security assessment which identifies; credible threats, existing vulnerabilities and provides a mitigation strategy.
Some of the components of a security plan can include, but not limited to:
1. Flow chart of security and company personnel
1. Communications
1. Access control, ID badging & key control
1. Operating at different threat levels
1. Standard operating policies & procedures
1. Training, drills & exercises
1. Restricted and controlled areas
1. Monitoring & intrusion detection equipment (i.e., CCTV…)
1. Lighting & emergency power
1. Diagram of the facility
1. ANNEX or Addendums with other SOPs, Contingency and/or Emergency Plans
