Dry Ice Supply and Delivery Services National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences requires a dry ice contract to ensure uninterrupted access to a critical cold-chain resource that supports essential research and laboratory operations. Dry ice is necessary for the storage, preservation, transportation, and handling of temperature-sensitive biological specimens, clinical samples, reagents, and research materials used in ongoing scientific studies.

Establishing a dry ice contract ensures a reliable supply source, predictable pricing, scheduled deliveries, and contingency support during emergencies or supply chain disruptions. The contract reduces operational risk and helps safeguard the continuity, quality, and compliance of our research programs and scientific operations.

A disruption in dry ice availability could result in the irreversible loss of irreplaceable specimens, degradation of research materials, invalidation of experimental data, and significant delays to time-sensitive research activities. Such impacts could compromise scientific integrity, hinder mission objectives, and increase operational costs associated with replacing materials and repeating experiments.
