STATEMENT OF WORK (SOW) for SERVICES
GENERAL INFORMATION
Title of Project:
Service and Maintenance Agreement for Sartorius iQue Screener+ Flow Cytometer
Statement of Need and Purpose:
National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences (NCATS) seeks a comprehensive service and maintenance agreement for the Sartorius iQue Screener+ high throughput flow cytometer (Serial Number:
SN3176). The services shall ensure the instrument remains fully operational, calibrated to factory specifications, and capable of supporting high-throughput biological research activities for the Therapeutic Development Branch (TDB).
Background Information and Objective:
TDB Biology Program has utilized the Sartorius iQue Screener+ high throughput flow cytometry system since 2013. This instrument is essential to daily laboratory operations, enabling rapid and quantitative analysis of cells and beads in microplate format.
In Fiscal Year 2025, the instrument experienced a failure that prevented event detection. Remote troubleshooting was unsuccessful, necessitating an on-site service visit due to the absence of an active service agreement at that time. Given the critical role of this instrument and the need to minimize downtime and avoid costly repairs, continued service coverage through a formal maintenance agreement is required.
The objective of this Statement of Work is to maintain continuous, reliable operation of the Sartorius iQue Screener+ flow cytometer through preventative maintenance, calibration, and repair services performed by the original equipment manufacturer (OEM).
Period of Performance:
The period of performance shall be twelve (12) months commencing upon receipt of order.
