About this file

This is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) issued by the Albuquerque Area Indian Health Service (IHS) for four Canon imageRUNNER ADVANCE DX C5860i Color Systems with preventive maintenance and service repairs. The solicitation is set-aside for small businesses and Indian Small Business Economic Enterprises, with a North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 334111 and a small business size standard of 1,250. The requirement includes installing three systems at the Albuquerque Area Office (in North, Finance, and Mail Room locations) and one system at the Albuquerque Area IHS Warehouse, with a 5-year extended warranty and monthly maintenance plan.

The contract will be a firm-fixed-price type with a base year and four potential option years, spanning from 2026 to 2031. Quoters must submit a three-volume proposal including technical capability, past performance, and pricing details, along with a signed SF-1449. The evaluation will use a comparative approach, with technical capability and past performance considered more important than price. Quotes are due by 01/07/2026 at 12:00 PM Mountain Time, and the government anticipates awarding the contract without discussions. The contractor must provide a factory-certified technician, be an authorized Canon dealer, and include comprehensive maintenance with toner service.
