This is Amendment 0001 to Solicitation No. 140P2126R0029 for STLI A/V System Upgrades, issued by the National Park Service (NPS), Washington Support Office (WASO), Contracting Office located in Denver, Colorado, with administration by the Department of Interior (DOI), NPS, Historic Preservation Fund (HFC) Acquisition Management in Harpers Ferry, West Virginia. The amendment is effective September 2, 2026, and was issued on August 24, 2026.

The amendment incorporates answers to 39 technical questions submitted by interested offerors, adds requested photographs of the theater locations and facility drawings, and extends the response deadline from September 7, 2026, to September 10, 2026. The project scope covers audio-visual system upgrades for two identical theaters at a single location, including UHD video capability with 3.1 surround sound audio, Blu-ray and BrightSign media players, hearing assistance and audio description systems, PZM microphones (one per theater), lighting control, and control systems including iPad interface and wireless key fobs. Key facility details include Theater 1 dimensions of 37'9" width with 11'5" to 15'11" ceiling heights and a 45'1" projector-to-screen distance, and Theater 2 dimensions of 37'5" width with 11' to 15'6" ceiling heights and a 46'2" projector-to-screen distance. Both theaters feature separate equipment rooms with 44RU Middle Atlantic racks and identical wiring. Government-provided equipment includes existing speakers, amplifiers, and audio monitoring equipment. Day-of-testing is required, and equipment must be transported to the facility by the contractor rather than drop-shipped to the park. All other terms and conditions of the original solicitation remain unchanged.
